The others went out to see the sunrise - I stayed back in Mahogany - (felt dizzy) - drank a lot of water (bottle water) & is now feeling fit for life!
We'd been out to see "Johnny's temple" Prah Khan & yes Johnny it's much more peaceful & mysterious than Ta Prohm - here are no food stalls - just the sounds of the jungle & shadows & trees - VERY INDIANA JONES! We sat down in the roots of a tree - Kate played her bamboo flute & the time stood still.

I'd spend most of the day in the guesthouse - after hitting my head into a log at the market in Siem Reap !!!

Nov.21

Today we'd been shopping !! (Sometimes it's good to stay away from the temples a day or so to let it all sink in!) Bought some sarongs & some of us swapped clothes - I got Kate's old ragged peace T-shirt ( & KATE I still got it) & BirgitSusanne got another T-shirt from me - Kate got Annemette's leggings. It's a good way to clean your backpack!

Nov.22 / 23

Went back out to the temples again!
The temple area starts about 7 km north of Siem Reap - There is another area east of town too - but so far I haven't seen that part (another life another time)

You buy passes 1 - 2 - 3 days ( about 20 - 40 - 60 $ ) & the drivers of the mopeds will cost x-tra - but it's worth it - I so far haven't met any who said ugly thing about the temples of Cambodia's jungle - some world travelers even said it was more fantastic than the Taj Mahal in India.
David had a small accident - while climbing up on the moped - he hit the toe on a metal-thing on the moped & scooped the nail off.
We met a lot of children at one temple - they tried to sell us old paper money & bamboo flutes - we took SO many photos of them. I climbed up on a huge stone elephant & couldn't climb down again - Did after some thoughts about staying there the rest of my life!
Said goodbye to the temples sitting in a twilight filled Bayon with David & watched the faces change colors & appearance!!

Nov.24

Left Siem Reap this early morning - by fast boat again - It was a cool day - Annemette fell asleep inside the boat - the rest of us sat on the top again.
I had to go to the restroom & coming up again Kim yelled "Get down Hanna! - get down!" & I crawled more or less like an eel over the boat to the others - somebody from the shore was shooting at the Boat! Back in Phnom Penh we realized that a policeman in the boat SallyAnn & Jim were in was shot in the upper arm. (They were NOT kidding telling us to sit downstairs).
Back in P.P. we went to Bert's Bookshop (An American guy married to a Khmer girl) & guesthouse & we had a wonderful dinner on the balcony of the guesthouse with Bert & his family.
